Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/1/15

9/1 is the day of Metal Dragon in the month of Wood Monkey. This is a challenging, tricky combination that can precipitate unexpected changes and reversals. Its nature is ambitious, motivated and independent, and it aims at getting money, but, because Monkey is empty, it can lose money too.
Dragon is the Star of Art for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative work.
Dragon generally favors Monkey, Rat, Rooster, and Tiger; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Sheep, and Ox; clashes with Dragon and Dog; and is either good or bad with Rabbit depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 36, line 4.

Hexagram 36 is Mingyi, Darkening of the Light. To persevere despite difficulties is favorable.

Line 4, says that when you get to the heart of the matter and understand the problem you are free to move on. The zodiac signs of line 4, Ox and Horse, clash with one another. Ox is strong by the season and hexagram, and Horse is weak. But, because Horse clashes with Ox, it harms Ox. Ox represents what supports you. This means what supports you is being threatened to some extent. Pay attention to family, home, food, health, education, and the like. If you are involved in a creative project, pay attention to research. Ox is in harmony with the sign of the day and with the sign of the month, but, because the sign of the month is empty, you can be frustrated. The Metal of Metal Dragon day puts a raven in line 4. Avoid worrying and arguing.

The elements of this hexagram are  Water, Fire, and Earth. Wait for trouble to pass, and then act.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/31/15

8/31 is the day of Earth Rabbit in the month of Wood Monkey. This is a harmonious combination. It favors creativity and productivity, and, as it has the power to resolve predicaments, it warns of theft, and of being used unfairly.
Rabbit is the Star of Romance for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for love.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this is a good day to take charge; take steps to move forward in your career.
Rabbit generally favors Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Dog, and Tiger; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rat and Rooster; and is either good or bad with Dragon depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen astrological method, is number 28, line 4.

Hexagram 28 is Daguo, Preponderance of the Great. The ridgepole sags to the breaking point. It is time for action. Success.

Line 4 The ridgepole is supported. Good luck. But, if you have ulterior motives or are careless you may suffer a setback. The zodiac signs of line 4, Pig and Dog are neutral toward one another. They both are strong by the season and act as allies. They represent what supports you and what you produce: basic things like home life and career. Pig and Dog are more or less in harmony with the zodiac signs of changing lines 5 and 6 as well as with the sign of the day, but Pig clashes with the sign of the month. This advises not to procrastinate. The Earth of Earth Rabbit day puts a dragon in line 4. It is auspicious; take timely action.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Metal. The only way to go is forward. Resistance will give way.

8/30 is the day of Earth Tiger in the month of Wood Monkey. Earth Tiger and Wood Monkey clash. Called a dangerous combination, it can precipitate sudden, unexpected changes. It favors creative thinking, and has the ability to turn adverse conditions into their opposite. The energy of this combination is unstable and mutable.
Tiger is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for making changes in your work, rearranging your home, and traveling.
Tiger generally favors Tiger, Horse, Dog, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; is neutral toward Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 45, line 2.

Hexagram 45 is Cai, Gathering. Success. The king approaches his temple. It is time for perseverance and making great offerings. This hexagram is good in fall.

Line 2 favors letting yourself be drawn along by others or by forces you do not fully understand. Letting yourself be drawn is good luck. It is also good luck to bring a even small offering. The zodiac sign of line 2, Snake, is weak by the season and hexagram. It represents pressures and obligations. Snake clashes with the signs of changing lines, 3 and 4, and with the signs of the day and month. There is no sense in resisting. The Earth of Earth Tiger day puts another snake in line 2. If you let yourself be drawn you may discover something you previously did not know about.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Metal. Let yourself be guided by spirit; it is good.

Line 5 Proceed resolutely. Be aware of potential danger. The zodiac sign of line 5, Monkey, is strong by the season and hexagram, but empty. It shows something ineffectual. Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/15/15

8/15 is the day of Water Pig in the month of Wood Monkey. This is a partly harmonious combination. It has an aggressive, competitive nature that can cause trouble in romantic and marital relationships. But, it also has the quality of being down to earth and kind hearted.
Pig is the Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for moving forward at work, and traveling.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 48, line 5.

Hexagram 48 is Jing, the Well. The town may be changed but not the well. All come and go. If you get down almost to the water and your rope is not long enough or the jug breaks, bad luck. This hexagram is good in fall.

Line 5 encourages sharing. The zodiac sign of line 5, Dog, is strong by the season element but weak by the hexagram element. It is somewhat compromised because of this. It represents in this hexagram financial concerns. Dog is in disharmony with the signs of changing line, 1, neutral with the sign of the day, and harmonious with the sign of the month. It is possible to be productive if you focus your energy. The Water of Water Pig day puts a snake in line 5. Pay attention to details. There may be some hidden matter for you to look into.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Water. Water flows through the woods. Help is available.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/14/15

8/14 is the day of Water Dog in the month of Wood Monkey. This is the first day of the lunar month of Wood Monkey, the first full month of fall in the Chinese calendar. The combination of Water Dog and Wood Monkey is harmonious. It favors being motivated, studying hard, and receiving help from mentors. It gives good luck and the ability to escape from difficulties unscathed, but warns against marital trouble, especially if it involves in-laws.
Dog is the Star of Art for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative work.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 29, line 6.

Hexagram 29 is Kan, Water, the Abyss. If you are sincere whatever you do will work out. Remaining hopeful brings success.

Line 6 If in difficulties, be patient. Trying to force change now will not work. The zodiac signs for line 6, Rat and Dog are neutral toward one another. Rat, in this hexagram, represents yourself. Dog represents those who stand up you, your enemies, clients, challenges and demands they make, and your power and ability to stand up and meet them. Both Rat and Dog are strong due to the season and hexagram. Rat, however, is stronger. You are stronger than your opposition. But, because Rat and Dog are neutral toward one another, they are not going to fight. You are being pressured, nonetheless. Rat and Dog are in partial harmony with the signs of changing line, 4, and are in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The situation is positively productive. The Water of Water Dog day puts a tiger in line 6. It warns that hasty decisions or actions are a bad idea. All things considered, the situation appears to be complicated and needs patience to work out.

The elements of this hexagram are Water, Water, and Water. Water takes the line of least resistance.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/13/15

8/13 is the day of Metal Rooster in the lunar month of Water Sheep. This is the last day of the lunar month. This combination favors prosperity.
Rooster is the Commanding Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day this is a good day to take initiative in your work.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a good day for romance.
The I Ching hexagram for today, using the King Wen method, is number 28, line 4.

Hexagram 28 is Daguo, Preponderance of the Great. The ridgepole sags to the breaking point. Take action. Success. This hexagram is not good in fall. We are in Chinese fall season.

Line 4 favors independence. It says if the ridgepole is arched, meaning, if you have sufficient talent and skill you will have good fortune. Don't make an assumption, however. The zodiac signs of line 4, Pig and Sheep, are strong by the season, but weak by the hexagram; strength is moderate. Pig, in this hexagram, represents your support, meaning matters connected to your home, nutrition, education, and possible matters needing research and investigation. Sheep further defines this to represent financial matters. Pig and Sheep are in harmony with the signs of changing line, 6, but the signs combine to further weaken Pig and Sheep. Then Pig and Sheep are neutral toward the sign of the day, and in harmony with the sign of the month. The degree of energy is moderate, maybe 50%. The Metal of Metal Rooster day puts a raven in line 4. Your weakness may cause frustration and quarreling.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Metal. Too much Wood, too little Metal confirms weakness.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/12/15

8/12 is the day of Metal Monkey in the year of Water Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It promotes prosperity, resolves difficulties, and brings help if needed.
Monkey is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be an active day, good for making headway at work, and traveling.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 62, line 4.

Hexagram 62 is Zraoguo, Preponderance of the small. Small things can be done, but not great things. The flying bird brings the message that it is not good to fly up, but good to remain below.

Line 4 advises flexibility and not forcing things. The zodiac sign of line 4, Horse, is weak in relation to the season and the hexagram. It represents authority, hard work, challenges, enemies, and issues of power. In a weak position, it advises some degree of flexibility and caution. Horse is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 6, is neutral with the sign of the day, and in harmony with the sign of the month, but is further weakened by the sign of the month. There is money to be made, caution notwithstanding. The Metal of Metal Monkey day puts a raven in line 4. This warns against getting into an argument under pressure.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Wood. The elements are not productive, but promise a degree of ease later on.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/11/15

8/11 is the day of Earth Sheep in the lunar month of Water Sheep. This is a partly discordant figure. It favors friendliness and independence.
Sheep is the Star of Art for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day to do some creative work.
The I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 7, line 3.

Hexagram 7 is Shi, the Army. Good fortune comes with the persistence of a strong leader. This hexagram is difficult in fall. We are in Chinese fall season.

Line 3 says that inept leadership results in many corpses. The zodiac sign of line 3, Horse, is very weak due to the season and hexagram element. It represents what supports and nourishes you, such as home, education, and food. It also represents research. When weak, it shows lack of needed insight. You need to get more information. Horse is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 2, and with the signs of the day and month, except that the signs of the day and month further weaken it. Sufficient support is lacking for the time being. The Earth of Earth Sheep day puts a tortoise in line 3. Keep secret; guard against theft and/or of being taken unfair advantage of.

The elements of this hexagram are Water, Water, and Earth. Water builds up until it overflows. Pressure is building up. Wait until the right time.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/10/15

8/10 is the day of Earth Horse in the lunar month of Water Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It favors being proactive, independent, and resourceful. It is also a Heavenly Medicine Star combination. It says that if you are weak or ill now, it is bad sign; you need to take care of yourself.  On the other hand, if you are strong this is a good sign. Heavenly Medicine Star favors consulting astrologers, and diviners.
Horse is the Commanding Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for going forward with your career plans.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox this is a good day for romantic relations.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 64, line 3.

Hexagram 64 is Weiji, Before Completion. Success. But if the little fox gets his tail wet before crossing the stream, misfortune. This hexagram is dangerous in fall. We are in Chinese fall.

Line 3 says to make corrections where necessary, and that if you are on the wrong course, better start over again. The zodiac sign of line 3, Horse, is weak because of the season, but strong because of the hexagram. It's strength is questionable. In this hexagram it represents your friendships, impersonal associations, and sibling relations; be careful with them. Horse is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 4, and while it is partly harmonious with the signs of the day and month, it is weakened by the sign of the month. This could put you at a temporary disadvantage. The Earth of Earth Horse day puts a tiger in line 3, saying that if you are in a good position, despite compromised conditions, you can attack with force. However, if you are in a bad position, attacking will result in disaster.

The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Water, and Fire. Avoid needless trouble.

The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 41, line 3.

Hexagram 41 is Sun, Decrease. Sincerity, along with restraint of anger and desire brings good fortune. It is good to persevere. This hexagram is favorable for people born in the month of Monkey (August - September).

Line 3 advises seeking balance in everything. If three travel together, one drops out. If one travels alone, a companion appears. The zodiac sign for line 3, Ox, is strong in this season (Chinese fall) and with this hexagram. It represents relationships of friends and siblings. Ox is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 5, and with the sign of the day, but clashes with the sign of the month. Not everyone gets along.
