Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/2/16

8/2 is the day of Fire Dragon in the month of Wood Sheep. This is the last day of the month. It is a harmonious combination that favors creative and research abilities.
This day is designated as auspicious and receive. All positive activities done this day will result in increased material and spiritual wealth.
A receive day is good for all fair exchanges, closing deals, proposals of marriage, and starting new work, but is bad for funerals, burials, seeking medical treatment, and visiting the sick unless you don't mind getting sick.
The lunar mansion of this day is Yi, the Wing. It is bad for door alignments in fengshui, also burials, and marriage. It also does not favor starting a new job.
Dragon, the sign of the day, is the Star of Art for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for creative work.
Dragon favors Monkey, Rat, Rooster, Tiger, Snake, Horse, Sheep, Pig, and Ox; clashes with Dragon and Dog; and is ambivalent with Rabbit.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 30, line 6.

Hexagram 30 is Li, Fire. Take care of that which takes care of you. Perseverence brings success.

Line 6 Conquer your fears. Stand firmly by what is right. Good fortune will result. The zodiac sign of line 6, Snake, is strong by the season element, and, by the element of the hexagram, signifies colleagues, or people with whom you associate. Snake is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. It is highly productive. The Fire of Fire Dragon day puts another dragon in line 6. This is auspicious. Use this day well. The Qi is very positive.
