Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/21/17

3/21 is the day of Fire Sheep in the month of Water Rabbit. This is a clashing combination. It favors hidden research, investigation, and working in solitude.
This day is designated as inauspicious and stable. Except for external renovations, it is bad for construction projects and internal renovations. Marriage and domestic affairs are also not favored.
A stable day is good for activities with a long term aspect.
The lunar mansion is Wei, Tail. This is excellent for all fengshui operations, and good for signing contracts.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this is a good day for creative work.
Sheep, the sign of this day, is in harmony with Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Snake, and Horse; neutral with Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; clashes with Dog and Ox; and is ambivalent with Rat.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 15, line 5.

Hexagram 15 is Qian, Modesty. Success. The superior man carries things to completion.

Line 5 Modest dealings with others. Everything contributes to success, even attacking with force if necessary. The zodiac signs of line 5 are Pig and Dog. By the element of the season, both are weak. By the element of the hexagram, Pig signifies creative and business interests, and Dog signifies support. Pig and Dog are 3/4 in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1. Pig is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. Dog clashes with the sign of the day and is in harmony with the sign of the month. Persevere in advancing. The Fire of Fire Sheep day puts a tortoise in line 5. Keep much to yourself. Guard against theft, and do not let yourself be used unfairly.
