Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/16/17

3/16 is the day of Water Tiger in the month of Water Rabbit. This is a harmonious combination. It favors talent related professions.
This day is designated as inauspicious and closed. It is unsuitable for major enterprises like renovations, getting married, moving house, or launching a new business, but it is ok for unimportant activities.
A closed day is not good for any activity of great personal or professional significance.
The lunar mansion is Jiao, Horn. This is a benefic star that promises increased wealth.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, and Dragon, this may be a busy day, good for travel.
Tiger, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; neutral with Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 35, line 4.

Hexagram 35 is Jin, Advancing. The powerful prince is honored with large numbers of horses, and receives and audience with the king three times in a single day.

Line 4 To advance like a mouse is dangerous. The zodiac sign for line 4 is Rooster. By the element of the season, Rooster is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Rooster signifies colleagues. Rooster is neutral with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. At first, distress, later there is relief. The Water of Water Tiger month puts a worm in line 4. There may be obstacles hindering progress. Be patient.
