Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/21/17

4/21 is the day of Earth Tiger in the month of Wood Dragon. This is a clashing combination. It favors independence.
This day is designated as excellent and open. It is good for all significant events and activities, and promises gains in money and property, also it points to a possible promotion.
And open day is good for opening a new business, welcoming in guests, house warming, and the like.
The lunar mansion is Niu, Ox. This is good for nothing, and casts a dark shadow.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this day may be busy and good for making progress in your work.
Tiger, the sign if the day, is in harmony with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; neutral with Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 12, line 3.

Hexagram 12 is Bi, Standstill. Lack of understanding between high and low. The great departs. The small approaches.

Line 3 Being expansive at the wrong time brings shame. The zodiac sign of line 3 is Rabbit. By the element of the season, Rabbit is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Rabbit signifies money. Rabbit is for the most part in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 4, and with the signs of the day and month. Many pressures hinder action. The Earth of Earth Tiger day puts a tiger in line 3. Danger. If you don't know what you are doing you could precipitate disaster. However, if you known what you are doing, this is the time to act.
