Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/9/15
2/9 is the day of Fire Dragon in the month of Fire Ox. This is a harmonious combination. It favors expression of creative talent and hard work. Fire Dragon is highly intelligent and has power to make money.
Dragon is the Star of Arts for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative work.
Dragon favors Monkey, Rat, Tiger, Rooster, and sometimes Rabbit; is neutral with Snake, Horse, Sheep, Pig, and Ox; and clashes with Dragon, Dog, and sometimes Rabbit.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 50, line 2.
Hexagram 50 is Ding, the Cauldron. Highest good fortune. Success. Clear out the old, spoiled food for the sake of what is fresh. This hexagram is good in spring. We are in Chinese spring season.
Line 2 tells us to have positive faith, and be of benefit to all. The zodiac sign for line 2, Pig, is in partial discord with the signs of changing lines 3 and 4, and is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Fire of Fire Dragon day puts a worm in line 2. Work conscientiously and carefully to get around an obstacle.
The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Wood, and Fire. Wood is productive everywhere. Trust guidance.
