Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/20/15
3/20 is the day of Wood Sheep. It is the first day of the 2nd lunar month, the month of Earth Rabbit. This combination is partly discordant. It favors those who are independent, and sociable. It also favors speculative professions involving such as stocks, bonds, futures, trading, and so on. And while there is an indication of potential trouble in personal relationships, the combination lends to prosperity.
Sheep is the Star of Arts for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day think and work creatively.
Sheep favors Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, Snake, and sometimes Rat; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; and clashes with Ox, Dog, and sometimes Rat.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 5, line 4.
Hexagram 5 is Xu, Waiting. Be confident and joyous when waiting. Perseverance brings success. It is time to cross the great water. This hexagram is good in spring.
Line 4 advises, when waiting in danger, or if worried, let nature take its course. The zodiac signs of line 4, Monkey and Rooster are in partial harmony with the signs of changing lines 5 and 6, and are in harmony with the sign of the day, and clash with the sign of the month. The Wood of Wood Sheep day puts a snake in line 4. If you proceed carefully, recognizing that there may be more to the situation than meets the eye, you will be rewarded with success. There are coming profits.
The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal, and Water. The elements are in a positive relationship to one another. Despite whatever difficulties there may be move forward and and be productive.
