Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/24/17
6/24 is the day of Water Horse in the lunar month of Fire Sheep. It is new moon. This is a clashing combination. It favors government careers.
This day is designated as inauspicious and establishing. It is bad for starting major works. If used, it can cause legal problems, gossip, and sickness.
An establish day was used by the emperor to pray for good harvests. It is good for visiting friends to discuss business plans and marriage.
The lunar mansion is Wei, Stomach. This asterim is good for increasing your wealth and improving your health. It is favorable for public events.
This day is favorable for romance, especially if you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox.
This day is good for progress in work, if you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog.
Horse, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Dog, Tiger, Snake, and Sheep; neutral with Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Rat, Ox, and Horse.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 62, line 4.
Hexagram 62 is Xiaoguo, Small Passing. Persistence furthers. Small things should be done, not great things. The flying bird brings the message, remain below, don't strive too high. Great good fortune.
Line 4 be flexible, Do not force issues. The zodiac sign of line 4 is Horse. By the element of the season, Horse is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Horse signifies power. Horse mostly clashes with the signs of changing lines, 1, 3, and 6, clashes with the sign of the day, and is in harmony with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements signifies ascending yang. It is potentially very productive. The Water of Water Horse day puts an earthworm in line 4. Be mindful of obstacles.
