Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/24/17
11/24 is the day of Wood Rabbit in the lunar month of Metal Pig. This is a clashing combination.
This day is designated as auspicious and stable. It is a good day for major activities like ground breaking, building, moving house, launching a business, traveling, and marriage.
A stable day is good for starting what you want to last a long time.
The lunar mansion is Kang, Neck. This is a negative asterism. It warns of loss of wealth. Don't gamble.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this day favors romance.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this day favors organizing your work and moving forward in it.
Rabbit, the sign of the day, favors Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Tiger, and Dog; is neutral with Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rooster and Rat; and is ambivalent with Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 4, line 4.
Hexagram 4 is Meng, The Fool. I don't seek the fool. He seeks me. When he asks for an oracle, I tell him. If he importunes, I stop. It is favorable to persist in one's goals.
Line 4 Getting caught up in impractical schemes brings humiliation. The zodiac signs of line 4 are Dog and Horse. By the element of the season, both are weak. By the element of the hexagram, Dog signifies the development of creative and business interests. Horse signifies colleagues and friends. Dog and Horse for the most part are harmonious with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 5, the sign of the day, and neutral with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements is unproductive and illusory. The Wood of Wood Rabbit day puts a snake in line 4. Pay attention to details. The day has contradictory readings.
