Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/28/18
2/28 is the day of Metal Rabbit in the lunar month of Wood Tiger. This is a clashing combination. It brings out Deity of Conventional Wealth, favoring finance, entrepreneurship, investment, and trading.
This day is designated as inauspicious and remove. Begin no major work today.
A remove day is good for spiritual practices to remove bad karma, and to clear your space of stagnation and clutter.
The lunar mansion is Bi, Wall. This brings prosperity. Do not travel south today, however.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this day favors romance.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this day is good for driving your work forward.
Rabbit, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Tiger, and Dog; neutral with Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rooster and Rat; and is ambivalent with Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 36, line 4.
Hexagram 36 is Mingyi, Darkening. Perseverance despite hindrances brings rewards.
Line 4 He penetrates the left side of the belly and enters the heart of darkening. He leaves by the gates of the courtyard. The zodiac sign of line 4 is Ox. By the element of the season, Ox is getting weak. By the element of the hexagram, Ox signifies power. Ox is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 3, and neutral with the signs of the day and month. The sequence of elements points to fortune lying eastward, in otherwords fortune lies in what is coming up, what is new. The Metal of Metal Rabbit day puts a raven in line 4. Avoid getting into arguments.
