Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/21/18
7/21 is the day of Wood Tiger in the lunar month of Earth Sheep. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is designated as excellent and danger. This is a gods and ghost emptiness day, good for major undertakings, except travel, renovation, moving house, marriage, and exploring new land.
A danger day is good for religious worship, and for fengshui.
The lunar mansion is Wei, Stomach. It is favorable for public matters, not so good for private, or family matters.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this day may be busy. It is good to know where you are going, otherwise this day could find you restless.
Tiger, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; neutral with Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 39, line 4.
Hexagram 39 is Chien, Impediments. Southwest (being among others) is favorable. Northwest (being apart) is not. It is advantageous to see the superior man. Perseverance in the right brings good fortune.
Line 4 Advancing leads to trouble. Returning bring union. The zodiac sign of line 4 is Monkey. By the element of the season, Monkey is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Monkey signifies support. Monkey clashes with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 3, clashes with the sign of the day, and is neutral with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements says dangers abound; be wary. The Wood of Wood Tiger day puts a snake in line 4. Pay attention to details, and watch for what is hidden.
