Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/14/17

7/14 is the day of Water Tiger in the month of Fire Dog. This is a clashing combination. It favors government careers.
This day is designated as auspicious and dangerous. It is good for major undertakings, but not for renovations, moving house, and marriage.
A danger day has much uncertainty. It is used for religious worship and fengshui operations.
The lunar mansion is Niu, Ox. This is a very negative asterism, not good for anything.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a day for moving forward at work, and possibly rearranging your furniture.
Tiger, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; neutral with Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 38, line 4.

Hexagram 38 is Kui, Opposition. Good fortune in limited matters.

Line 4 Choose cooperative companions. The zodiac sign for line 4 is Rooster. By the element of the season, Rooster is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Rooster represents creative and business interests. Rooster is neutral with the signs of changing line, 3, the sign of the day, and month. The sequence of elements warns of dangers all around. Be wary. The Water of Water Tiger day puts an earthworm in line 4. The earthworm advises to take it slowly. There may be an obstacle in the way.
