Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/13/18

3/13 is the day of Wood Dragon in the lunar month of Wood Tiger. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is designated as dire and full. Shar (killing) Qi is in the central palace making this a bad day for most activities or ventures. If used, it may bring loss of wealth or physical harm.
A full day, considering the circumstances, may be a day full of trouble, or a day filled with peace.
The lunar mansion is Zhang, Bow. This promises multiplication of assets.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this day favors creative work.
Dragon, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Monkey, Rat, Tiger, and Rooster, neutral with Snake Horse, Sheep, Pig, and Ox; clashes with Dog and Dragon; and is ambivalent with Rabbit.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 5, line 4.

Hexagram 5 is Xu, Waiting. Confident, joyous, deliberate waiting. Perseverance in righteous action brings success.

Line 4 Waiting in the pit amidst blood. The zodiac sign of line 4 is Monkey. By the element of the season, Monkey is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Monkey signifies development of creative interest. Monkey is neutral with the signs of changing lines, 3 and 5, is in harmony with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements points to all energies evenly low. Comfort later. The Wood of Wood Dragon day puts a snake in line 4. Wait patiently and be attentive to small details.
