Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/5/18

4/5 is the day of Fire Rabbit in the lunar month of Wood Rabbit. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is the first day of the 3rd solar period of this year. It has the names Qing Ming (Clear and Bright) and Gu Ru (Grain Rain) for the 2 respective fortnight periods (approximately 2 weeks each). During this time, the Shars (killing forces) are in the southeast, south, and southwest. It is considered bad luck to dig, build, or otherwise disturb these areas for the time being.
This day is designated as inauspicious and establishing. Avoing major undertakings today.
An establish day is good for visiting friends to discuss business plans and plans for marriage.
The lunar mansion is Jing, Well. This is good for fengshui.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this day favors romance and the development of creative projects.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this is a good day for pursuing work.
Rabbit, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Tiger, and Dog; neutral with Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rooster and Rat; and is ambivalent with Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 56, line 1.

Hexagram 56 is Lu, Traveler. Small success and progress. Firm correctness brings good fortune.

Line 1 If the traveler engages in trivial matters, he brings misfortune upon himself. The zodiac signs of line 1 are Dragon and Rat. By the element of the season, Dragon is strong and Rat is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Dragon signifies development of creative or business interests, Rat signifies power. Dragon and Rat are in harmony with the signs of changing line, 2, and clash with the sign of the day and month. The sequence of elements points to belated fortune. The Fire of Fire Rabbit day puts a raven in line 1. Avoid gossiping and quarreling.
