Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/16/18

6/16 is the day of Earth Rabbit in the lunar month of Earth Horse. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is designated as inauspicious and receive. An emptiness day, when interferences and disputed of petty minded individuals can happen, avoid important activities.
A receive day is good to attain something, bad for visiting those with contageous illnesses.
The lunar mansion is Nu, the Weaving Maiden. This is good for academic and literary activities.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, you can benefit from social interactions today.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this day favors enterprising.
Rabbit, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Tiger, and Dog; neutral with Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rooster, and Rat; and is ambivalent with Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 19, line 2.

Hexagram 19 is Lin, Approach. Persistence in righteousness is advantageous. In the eigth month comes misfortune.

Line 2 Joint approach. Good fortune. Everything is advantageous. The zodiac sign of line 2 is Rabbit. By the element of the season, Rabbit is weakening. By the element of the hexagram, Rabbit signifies power. Rabbit is mostly neutral with the signs of changing lines, 4, 5, and 6, in harmony with the sign of the day, and neutral with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements says the time is efficacious for ideas. The Earth of Earth Rabbit day puts a tiger in line 2. For private work, especially academic or literary, this is a good day for ideas to come; but for public activity this can be a very unfortunate day.
