Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/6/18

6/6 is the day of Earth Snake in the lunar month of Fire Snake. This is the first day of the 5th solar period. It runs to 7/7 and has the two fortnights called Mang Zhong, Planting of Thorny Crops; and Xia Zhi, Summer Solstice. The Shars (killing forces) are now in the northwest, north, and northeast. Do not build, renovate, dig in the ground, or otherwise disturb the ground in these areas for the time being, to prevent unleashing bad energies.
This day is designated as inauspicious and close. It is not a good day for beginning any major work.
A close day is bad for any activity of great personal or professional importance.
The lunar mansion is Zhen, Carriage. This is a good day for acquiring small assets.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this day may be busy, it is good to have a goal and be organized.
Snake, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; neutral with Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey, Pig, and Tiger,
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 7, line 3.

Hexagram 7 is Shi, Army. Perseverance, along with correct and strong leadership, brings good fortune.

Line 3 Improper leadership. Many corpses. The zodiac sign of line 3 is Horse. By the element of the season, Horse is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Horse, signifies money. Horse is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1, and with the sign of the day and month. The sequence of elements points to a projection of cosmic fire energy. The Earth of Earth Snake day puts a tortoise in line 3. The tortoise signifies secrecy. Keep your business private.
