Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/7/15
6/7 is the day of Wood Tiger in the month of Metal Snake. This combination promotes prosperity and gives the ability to turn adverse situations to favorable ones. It favors creative work.
Tiger is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for rearranging your home and/or work place, traveling, moving house, or making positive moves in your work.
Tiger generally favors Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; is neutral toward Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 2, line 6.
Hexagram 2 is Kun, the Earth, or Receptive. Success through cultivation of receptivity. If you try to lead you go astray. If you follow you find the guidance you need. It is good to join with others. Working quietly brings good fortune.
Line 6 warns against trying to take the lead. The zodiac signs of line 6, Rooster and Snake, are for the most part harmonious with the signs of changing lines, 1, 2, and 4, clash with the sign of the day, and are in harmony with the sign of the month. The Wood of Wood Tiger day puts a tortoise in line 6. It helps to be private.
The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Earth, and Earth. A good past points to a good future. If your foundation is strong, if you have prepared the way, you will be successful.
