Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 5/26/17
5/26 is the day of Water Ox in the lunar month of Fire Horse. It is a new moon. This is a clashing combination. It favors the arts.
This day is designated as dire and successful. It is best to avoid starting major projects this day, as legal entanglements, disputes, interference of petty minded malicious people, and loss of wealth could result.
A success day is very positive and encourages (minor) activities.
The lunar mansion is Lou, Mound. This is a very good asterism, with no negative attributes.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is an especially good day for creative work.
Ox, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; neutral with Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Monkey, and Dog; and clashes with Horse and Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 14, line 3.
Hexagram 14 is Dayou, Great Possession. Supreme success.
Line 3 The prince presents his offering to the emperor. An ordinary man cannot do this. The zodiac sign of line 3 is Dragon. By the element of the season, Dragon is becoming weak. By the element of the hexagram, Dragon represents support. Dragon for the most part is neutral with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 6, and with the signs of the day and month. Dragon with Ox and Horse implies hidden reserves. The Water of Water Ox day puts a raven in line 3. There is envy. Avoid quarreling.
