Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/14/17
12/14 is the day of Wood Pig in the lunar month of Metal Pig. This is a clashing combination.
This day is designated as excellent and closed. This is good for activities in literary arts. It is also good for renovation and trading.
A close day is generally bad for any undertaking of great personal and business significance.
The lunar mansion is Jing, Well. This is a very good asterism for fengshui.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this day is good for getting organized and making progress at work.
Pig, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rabbit, Sheep, Rat, Ox, and Tiger; neutral with Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and Clashes with Snake, Monkey, and Pig.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 3, line 2.
Hexagram 3 is Tun, Difficulty in the Beginning. The superior man advances, despite difficulty in the beginning, through cooperation and perseverance in what is right.
Line 2 Back and forth. No progress. The maiden has lost her veil but remains modest. The man will woo at the right time without obstacles. The zodiac signs of line 3 are Tiger and Dragon. By the element of the season, both are strong. By the element of the hexagram, Tiger signifies the development of creative and business interests. Dragon signifies power. Tiger and Dragon are neutral with the signs of changing line, 1. Tiger is in harmony with the sign of the day and month. Dragon is neutral with the sign of the day and month. The sequence of elements says it is good to withdraw. The Wood of Wood Pig day puts a raven in line 2. Avoid quarreling.
