Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/6/17

12/6 is the day of Fire Rabbit in the lunar month of Metal Pig. This is a clashing combination.
This day is designated as auspicious and stable. It is good for all major activities like ground breaking, starting construction, moving house, travel, launching a business, marriage.
A stable day is a good day to begin something that you want to last a long time.
The lunar mansion is Bi, Wall. It promises prosperity and increase of wealth. Do not travel south today.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this day is good for romance and expression of your talents.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, get active today, move forward with your work.
Rabbit, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Dog, and Tiger; neutral with Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rooster and Rat; and is ambivalent with Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 63, line 3.

Hexagram 63 is Jiji, After Completion. Success in small things. It is time to persevere. At the beginning, good luck. At the end, disorder.

Line 3 The illustrious ancestor carried out an attack on the devil's country. After three years he conquered it. Inferior men must not take part in such an undertaking. The zodiac sign of line 3 is Pig. By the element of the season, Pig is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Pig signifies friends and colleagues. Pig is neutral with the signs of changing lines, 4 and 6, and is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The sequence of elements is very productive. Success. The Fire of Fire Rabbit day puts a snake in line 3. Something may be hidden, look closely.
