Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/3/18
3/3 is the day of Wood Horse in the lunar month of Wood Tiger. This is a harmonious combination. It brings out Amiable Deity, favoring all independent, freelance professions.
This day is designated as auspicious and stable. It is good for beginning all major undertakings, such as renovations, moving house, opening a business, travel, and marriage.
A stable day is good for starting something that you want to last a long time. It's a good day to get a pet.
The lunar mansion is Lou, Mound. This is very positive for everything.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this day favors romance.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this day is good for being proactive in your work.
Horse, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Dog, Tiger, Snake, and Sheep; neutral with Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Rat, Ox, and Horse.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 56, line 1.
Hexagram 56 is Lu, the Traveler. Small success and progress. Firm correctness brings good fortune.
Line 1 If the traveler engages in trivial matters, he brings misfortune upon himself. The zodiac signs of line 1 are Dragon and Snake. By the element of the season, both are strong. By the element of the hexagram, Dragon signifies development of creative or business interests, and Snake signifies friends and colleagues. Dragon and Snake are neutral with the signs of changing lines, 2, 3, and 6, and in harmony with the signs if the day and month. The sequence of elements says to pursue family and business. The Wood of Wood Horse day puts a dragon in line 1. This is very auspicious for being active.
