Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/10/18
3/10 is the day of Metal Ox in the lunar month of Wood Tiger. This is a clashing combination.
This day is designated as inauspicious and close. It is extremely inauspicious for major undertakings. Guard against being attacked by a venomous snake - literally or figuratively.
A close day is bad for any activity of great personal or business importance.
The lunar mansion is Gui, Ghost. This is a negative asterism. Do not travel west.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this day favors creative work.
Ox, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Pig, and Rat; neutral with Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog;
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 29, line 6.
Hexagram 29 is Kan, Water. Maintaining a sanguine attitude and a stable mind induces respect, and results in success.
Line 6 Rashness leads to entanglements. The zodiac signs of line 6 are Rat and Dog. By the element of the season, both are weak. By the element of the hexagram, Rat signifies friends and colleagues, and Dog signifies power. Rat and Dog are each in harmony with the signs of changing line, 4. Rat is in harmony with the sign of the day, and is neutral with the sign of the month. Dog clashes with the sign of the day, and is in harmony with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements says not to retreat but persevere in advancing. The Metal of Metal Ox day puts a snake in line 6. Be very careful.
