Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/6/15

2/6 is the day of Water Ox in the month of Fire Ox. This is a discordant combination. It favors independence and facing challenges.
Ox is the Star of Art for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative, artistic thinking and work.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Rabbit, or Dragon this is a good day for solitude.
Ox favors Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 8, line 3.

Hexagram 8 is Bi, Loyalty. Good fortune if you maintain high standards and are constant. Those who are uncertain eventually join. Those who come too late lose.

Line 3 raises the question whether you are attracting the wrong people. The zodiac sign for line 3, Rabbit, is in harmony with the signs for changing line 5, and is neutral toward the sign of the day and month. The Water of Water Ox day puts a raven in line 3. Action brings gains, but also the danger of quarreling. A degree of self-restraint is in order.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Earth, and Water. The way is narrow and dangerous. Use great caution.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/5/15

2/5 is the day of Water Rat in the month of Fire Ox. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors competition and hard work. It points to Heaven Medicine Star. Heaven Medicine Star is a good omen for those who are healthy and bad for those who are not. If you are ill, pay special attention to your health today.
Water Rat is a Knife Blade Star. It can bring out impatience, intolerance, and anger.
Water Rat is also a Red Light Star. It can stir up trouble and cause misunderstandings in personal relationships.
Rat, nonetheless, is the Star of Romance for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for getting involved romantically.
Rat is also the Commanding Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, take advantage of the day to get ahead in your career.
Rat favors Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Ox, Pig, and sometimes Sheep; is neutral toward Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Rabbit, Horse, and sometimes Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 22, line 1.

Hexagram 22 is Pen, Grace. It is successful in small matters. It is favorable to get busy. This hexagram is good in winter.

Line 1 advises doing what needs to be done, and paying attention to self-cultivation. The zodiac sign for line 1, Rabbit, clashes with the sign of the day and is neutral toward the sign of the month. The Water of Water Rat day puts a tortoise in line 1. You can avoid unnecessary trouble and get what you want if you don't tell everyone your business. Be discreet.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Fire, and Earth. Buried treasure.

Fire Sheep is highly intelligent and passionate. It can get into trouble in romantic relationships as well as in marriage and with in-laws. It is also optimistic and generous to a fault, and will work hard to overcome problems.

Sheep gets along well with Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, Snake, and sometimes Rat; neutrally with Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; and problematically with Ox, Dog, and sometimes Rat.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 45, line 2.
