Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/31/15
1/31 is the day of Fire Sheep in the month of Fire Ox. This is a discordant combination that can bring unexpected changes. It favors independence and expression of creative talent. Fire Sheep is highly intelligent and passionate. It can get into trouble in romantic relationships as well as in marriage and with in-laws. It is also optimistic and generous to a fault, and will work hard to overcome problems.
Sheep is the Star of Arts for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for creative, artistic work.
Sheep gets along well with Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, Snake, and sometimes Rat; neutrally with Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; and problematically with Ox, Dog, and sometimes Rat.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 45, line 2.
Hexagram 45 is Cai, Gathering. Success. The king approaches his temple. It is good to see influential people. It is time to persevere, to make great offerings. and to work toward accomplishing a goal.
Line 2 favors having a goal, and letting yourself be drawn intuitively into what your nature wants to do. The zodiac sign of line 2, Snake, is in harmony with the signs for the day and month. The Fire of Fire Sheep puts a worm in line 2. Even if you feel there are obstacles keep moving and be productive.
The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Metal. Earth is productive all around. Good spirits are guiding.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/3/14
10/3 is the day of Fire Sheep in the month of Wood Dog. Fire Sheep is a Peach Blossom Star. It is a good day for social activity. Fire Sheep with Wood Dog is a partially harmonious combination that encourages being resourceful and inventive, and pursuing your aims.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep this is a good day for you, especially if you are involved in a creative, artistic, or inventive field.
Sheep is in harmony with Rabbit, Pig, Sheep, Horse, Snake, Monkey, Rooster, and Dragon, and is in discord with Dog, Ox, Rat, and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 7, line 3.
Hexagram 7 is The Army. Persevering with right leadership is successful.
Line 3 says inept leadership leads to misfortune. The zodiac signs of line 3, Horse and Rooster are in discord with one another and are in partial discord with the signs of changing line 4. They are then in harmony with the sign for the day, Sheep, and in partial harmony with the sign for the month, Dog. The Fire of Fire Sheep puts a snake in line 3. This means that there is cause for doubt; something strange is hidden. Proceed cautiously.
The elements of this hexagram are Water, Water, and Earth. Gains come after great efforts.
