Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 6/28/15
6/28 is the day of Wood Pig in the month of Water Horse. This is a harmonious combination. It is fortunate, gives the ability to turn difficult situations to advantage, and favors generosity and kindness.
Pig is the Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for making progress in your career, rearranging your home or work place, and traveling.
Pig generally favors Rabbit, Sheep, Rat, Ox, and Tiger; is neutral toward Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Pig, Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day is number 11, line 3.
Hexagram 11 is Tai, Peace. The small departs; the great arrives. Good fortune and success.
Line 3 reminds us that everything changes perpetually. The zodiac sign of line 3, Dragon, is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Wood of Wood Pig day puts a worm in line 3. Gain and support; protect what you acquire.
The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal, and Earth. There is gold in the earth. Profits are coming.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/23/15
2/23 is the day of Metal Horse in the month of Earth Tiger. This is a completely harmonious combination. It brings out the Deity of Secondary Resources. This one loves occult research, metaphysics, astrology, psychic arts, magic and literary arts. Metal Horse also favors love and pleasure.
Horse is the Star of Romance for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for romantic affairs.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog this is a good day to move forward in work.
Horse favors Dog, Tiger, Sheep, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Horse, Rat, and Ox.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen calculation, is number 12, line 3.
Hexagram 23 is Bi, Negativity. Petty minded people can get the upper hand. It does not further a good person to insist on getting his way. The great leaves, the small approaches. This points to the need to avoid pettiness and pretense.
Line 3 says that if you try to achieve something beyond your capacity or ability you will regret it. Don't bite off more than you can chew. The zodiac sign for line 3, Rabbit, is in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 6, and neutral with the signs for the day and month. The Metal of Metal Horse day puts a dragon in line 3. Seek moderation.
The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Metal. Allow good spirits to guide you.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/12/14
11/12 is the day of Fire Pig in the month of Wood Pig. This is a lively, partly harmonious, partly turbulent combination that calls for resourcefulness and courage. It can cause anxiety due to obstacles or difficulties, but attracts assistance from mentors. In other words, if you find yourself in trouble, get help, either from another person or from spirit.
Fire Pig brings out the star of Tien Yi. Tien Yi is a deity whom all demons fear. She resolves most predicaments, and wards off bad luck.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for travel, making changes at home or work.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rooster, or Dog, this is a good day to work alone, and enjoy solitude.
If you were born in a year of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, Pig lends you courage and favors your planning abilities, but warns against forcing legal action and getting involved in legal disputes.
If you were born in a year of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is not a good day for important meetings or events. Wear something green to mitigate the shar (bad luck). Also, if you were born in the year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, be on the lookout for potential loss or theft, not necessarily literal.
Pig gets along harmoniously with Rabbit, Sheep, Rat, Ox, and Tiger; neutrally with Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and discordantly with Pig, Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 53, line 3.
Hexagram 53 is Jian, or Gradual Development. Small things accumulate to become large. Progress is made toward marriage. Persevere. Good luck. This hexagram is bad in winter. We are in Chinese winter season. If you are ill, this is a bad omen. Seek help.
Line 3 warns against trying to obtain things by force. Wait for a better time. The zodiac sign of line 3, Monkey, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing lines 2 and 5, and clashes with the sign of the day and month, Pig. The Fire of Fire Pig puts a snake in line 3. There is something hidden. Beware. Trying to force progress now is a bad idea. Be patient.
The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Earth, and Wood. The earth bears up the trees. Be industrious.
