Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/8/14

9/8 is the day of Water Horse in the month of Water Rooster. Water Horse is restless. The combination is discordant and brings up a competitive spirit.
Horse is in harmony with Dog, Tiger, Sheep, Snake, Rabbit, and Dragon, and is in varying degrees of discord with Horse, Rat, Ox, Monkey, Rooster, and Pig.
The Water of Water Horse makes Monkey and Rooster weak. If you were born in the year or day of Monkey or Rooster, don't press your luck today.
The Water of Water Horse gives a boost of energy to Pig, Rat, and Ox.
This is a peak day for Rat. But, considering that Rat is in opposition to Horse, Rat has to watch out not to get into a fight.
Horse brings opportunities of romance to Snake, Rooster, and Ox.
Horse favors entrepreneurs born in the year or day of Tiger, Horse, and Dog.
Horse is Heaven Medicine Star for Sheep. If Sheep is weak, this bodes ill. But if Sheep is strong it bodes well. For Sheep, either way, this is a very good day for consulting an oracle.
The hexagram for today, using the King Wen method, is number 6, line 5.

Hexagram 6 is Conflict. You are sincere but meet with opposition. Cautiously holding back brings good fortune. Pushing ahead brings disaster. Seek counsel. Do not cross the great water. This hexagram is good in fall. We are in Chinese fall season.

Line 5 advises using only those who are qualified. The zodiac sign of line 5 is Monkey. The Water of Water Horse day makes Monkey weak. Monkey is conquered by Horse, the sign of the day, and gets no help from Rooster, the sign of the month. Rooster is also weak. Do not press forward. If you have a dispute, seek counsel.

The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Water, and Metal. It favors biding your time. Flowers on water shade fish.

Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/7/14

9/7 is the day of Metal Snake in the month of Water Rooster. This is a harmonious combination that favors lending sympathetic, friendly support to others, expressing creative talent, and engaging in independent activity.
Snake is harmonious with Snake, Rooster, Ox, Sheep, Dragon, Dog, Horse, and Rabbit, and has varying degrees of discord with Tiger, Monkey, Pig, and Rat. The Metal of Metal Snake boosts the energy of Sheep, Monkey, and Rooster.
This is a peak day for Monkey. But, because of the relation between Monkey and Snake, Monkey needs to be sharp and not get used unfairly.
Snake is the Robbing Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. It tells people born in the year of these signs to be sharp and smart, and be on the lookout against robbery, not necessarily literally.
Snake is the Traveling Star for Rabbit, Sheep, and Pig. If you were born in the year or day of Rabbit, Sheep, or Pig, this is a good day for fixing up and rearranging the house, traveling, moving, or taking a positive step forward in your work.
Snake lends you courage and planning ability if you were born in the year of Tiger, Horse, and Dog. But, says that if you have legal problems, or a score to settle, this is not the day to take action.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 27, line 4.

Hexagram 27 is The Corners of the Mouth, or Jaws. It advises to stay close to good, and far from evil. Pay attention to providing nourishment whether in the form of food or in the form of words.

Line 4 favors considering how best to help others. Don't try too hard. The zodiac sign for line 4, Dog, is in harmony with the signs of line 2, the changing line. Dog is also in harmony with the sign of the day, Snake, provided it properly exercises planning ability. But, Dog is in discord with the sign of the month, Rooster. This means that you must consider that trying to help others too much can result in friction. A child being overwhelmed by its mother gets angry. The Metal of Metal Dog puts a raven in line 4. This means that too much help can bring on an argument. Don't try too hard.

It also favors social relations and independent professional activity.
