Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/14/16

3/14 is the day of Wood Sheep in the month of Metal Rabbit. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors independence and grants prosperity.
Sheep is the Star of Art for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for creative work.
Sheep favors Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; clashes with Dog and Ox; and is ambivalent toward Rat.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 7, line 3.

Hexagram 7 is Shi, the Army. It demands persistence and leadership ability.

Line 3 says if you carry corpses you will have bad luck. The zodiac signs of line 3, Horse and Rooster are neutral toward one another. They are weak by the season element, and, by the hexagram's element, represent money to provide for your needs. Be content with what you get. Horse and Rooster are in discord with the signs of changing line, 5, and are partly in harmony with the signs of the day and month. Modest gains. The Wood of Wood Sheep day puts a worm in line 3. It indicates slow going. If you are carrying corpses you are being dragged down by unresolved conditions rooted in the past, and this is not a fortunate condition to be in. The less burdened you are, the better.
