Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/13/15

10/13 is the day of Earth Dragon in the month of Earth Dog. This is a clash combination. It favors independence.
This day is designated as dire and destruction. Nothing major should be started this day, as using this day may result in loss of wealth as well as being plagued by catastrophe.
Destruction day is good for destroying something like demolishing a building.
The lunar mansion is Kui, meaning Astride. It is a dangerous star.
Dragon, the sign of this day, is the Star of Art for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. For people born under these, this is a good day for creative work.
Dragon is harmonious with Monkey, Rat, Tiger, and Rooster; neutral toward Snake, Horse, Sheep, Pig, and Ox; clashes with Dragon and Dog; and is ambivalent toward Rabbit.
The I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 39, line 4.

Hexagram 39 is Chien, Impediments. Going southwest is favorable. The northeast is hostile. It is advantageous to see the great man. Perseverance in the right brings good fortune.

Line 4 Advancing leads to troubles. Returning brings union. The zodiac sign for line 4 is Monkey. Monkey, with the sign of the element of the hexagram, is strong. With the sign of the hexagram, Monkey signifies colleagues. Monkey is for the most part in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 5 and 6. And with the signs of the day and month Monkey is in harmony. Thick foundations. Rely on accumulated merit. The Earth of Earth Dragon day puts a tortoise in line 4. Tortoise tells you to keep privacy, and guard against theft.
