Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/14/16

10/14 is the day of Earth Snake in the month of Earth Dog. This is a harmonious combination. And it favors competitiveness.
This day is designated as fair and dangerous. It is good for landscaping, construction, renovation, marriage, opening a business, travel, or moving house.
A danger day is traditionally used for religious worship, and bed positioning in fengshui.
The lunar mansion this day is Lou, Mound. It is a good star for business and personal activities, marriage, business deals, renovations, and building.
Snake, the sign for this day, is the Traveling Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born under one of these three signs, this is a good day for organizing your home, making progress in your work, and traveling.
Snake is harmonious with Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; neutral toward Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey, Pig, and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 42, line 3.

Hexagram 42 is Yi, Increase. A constant drip of water can fill a river.

Line 3 You are benefitted by unfortunate events. no blame if you are sincere and walk in the middle, and report to the prince with a letter and seal. The zodiac sign for line 3 is Dragon.
