Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/30/18

7/30 is the day of Water Pig in the lunar month of Earth Sheep. This is a clashing combination.
This day is designated as inauspicious and stable. Known as a Six Jia Exhaustion day in which there is no Qi, it is not good for any major undertaking.
A stable day, however, is good for beginning something that will last a long time.
The lunar mansion is Zhang, Bow. This is a very positive asterism. It is good for all kinds of professional and personal activity.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this day may be very busy. It helps if you are focused.
Pig, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rabbit, Sheep, Rat, Ox, and Tiger; neutral with Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Snake, Monkey, and Pig.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 39, line 4.

Hexagram 39 is Chien, Impediment. The southwest (where you are among people) is favorable. The northeast (where you stand alone) is not. Advantageous to see the superior man. Perseverance brings good fortune.

Line 4 Advancing leads to troubles. Returning brings union. The zodiac sign of line 4 is Monkey. By the element of the season, Monkey is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Monkey signifies friends, relatives, and colleagues. Monkey clashes with the sign of the day, and is neutral with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements says to return to simplicity. The Water of Water Pig day puts an earthworm in line 4. The earthworm signifies obstacles and impediments that you have to pay attention to.
