Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/10/14
9/10 is the day of Wood Monkey in the month of Water Rooster. This is a harmonious combination that favors taking care of business, while being considerate, direct, and forthright. Rooster month with Monkey day brings out Heaven Medicine Star. It advises everyone to be mindful of health in every sense. Heaven Medicine Star favors divination.
Monkey is in harmony with Monkey, Rooster, Rat, Dragon, Dog, Ox, and Sheep, and in discord with Snake, Pig, Tiger, Rabbit, and Horse.
The Wood of Wood Monkey gives a boost of energy to Tiger, Rabbit, and Dragon. For people born in the year or day of Rabbit, Monkey is a Robbing Star. This, being a peak day for Rabbit, warns Rabbit avoid trickery, as that could lead to conflict.
Monkey is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in the year or day of one of these signs you may take a positive step forward at work today.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 30, line 6.
Hexagram 30 is Fire. It is good to persevere, as that will lead to success. Heaven Medicine Star day with this hexagram, warns that people who are weak need to be extra careful, lest they fall ill.
Line 6 advises to make needed adjustments. Good fortune will follow. The zodiac sign of line 6, Snake, is poorly helped by the signs of changing lines, 2, 3, and 4. Snake is then in conflict with the sign of the day, Monkey, but is in harmony with the sign of the month, Rooster. This means that earlier difficulties will give way to ease, all things considered. It is good to persevere.
The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Fire, and Fire. Tend to what nourishes you. Support that which supports you.
