Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/11/15
4/11 is the day of Fire Snake in the month of Earth Rabbit. This is a harmonious combination. It favors those who are resourceful, supportive, and caring.
Fire Snake is a Knife Blade combination. On the one hand, this can cause impatience and intolerance; on the other hand, it allows for peak performance.
Snake is the Traveling Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this promises to be a busy day, good for traveling, rearranging your home or place of work, and for being proactive in your career.
Snake is generally good for those born in a year, month, day, or hour of Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, or Sheep; neither good nor bad for people born under Dog, Rat, Rabbit, or Dragon; and a challenge to people born under Monkey, Pig, or Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day is number 59, line 5.
Hexagram 59 is Huan, Dispersion. The king approaches his temple. It is good to cross the great water. Perseverance brings rewards. Obstacles are giving way.
Line 5 advises adjusting to the changing time. To give of your inner and outer resources allows all to move forward positively. The zodiac sign of line 5, Snake, is in harmony with the signs of changing line 4, and with the signs of the day and month. The Fire of Fire Snake day puts a tortoise in line 5. Be humble in giving.
The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Water, and Wood. Wood is nourished. Progress is being made.
