Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/9/15
4/9 is the day of Wood Rabbit in the month of Earth Rabbit. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors those who are competitive, smart, and intent on getting money and achieving goals.
Rabbit is the Commanding Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a day to focus on, and pursue your career goals.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog this is a also good day for romantic interests.
Rabbit generally is good for people born in a year, month, day, or hour of Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Dog, or Tiger; neither good nor bad for people born under Snake, Horse, Monkey, or Ox; challenging to people born under Rat or Rooster; either good or bad, depending on circumstances, for people born under Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 10, line 5.
Hexagram 10 is Lu, Treading. Treading on the tail of a tiger. It does not bite. Progress cautiously for success. It pays heed to the signs, high and low, and encourage the people. This hexagram is bad in spring. Conditions may be risky.
Line 5 Advance in the right moment. Despite firmness and correctness, there is danger. The zodiac sign of line 5, Monkey, is in partial discord with the signs of changing lines, 1 and 6, and neutral toward the signs of the day and month. The Wood of Wood Rabbit puts a tiger in line 6. While it is possible to make gains, impulsive, or heedless actions are to be avoided, as they could result in disaster.
The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal and Metal. Metal is strong. Success is highly possible.
