Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/30/16

8/30 is the day of Wood Monkey in the month of Fire Monkey. This is a harmonious combination. It favors taking chances.
This day is designated as auspicious and establish. An establish day is traditionally used to pray for good harvests, and is also good to pray for prosperity. This day is good for getting engaged, staring a new job, starting a new project, starting new constuction, getting medical treatment, and making plans for traveling.
The lunar mansion this day is Yi, a wing. It is a malefic star which frowns on marriage ceremonies, burials, and door alignments in fengshui practice.
Monkey, the sign for this day, is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for rearranging your home and/or work place, moving forward in your career aim, and traveling.
Monkey favors Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neutral toward Ox, Rabbit, Horse, and Sheep; and clashes with Pig, Tiger, and Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 3, line 2.

Hexagram 3 is Tun, Difficulty in the Beginning. Perseverance leads to good fortune. Get help if needed.

Line 2 If difficulties are mounting, wait for conditions to turn around. The zodiac sign for line 2, Tiger, is weak by the season element, and, by the element of the hexagra, signifies creative, or business interests. Tiger is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 6, and clashes with the signs of the day and month. A precious stone is found in thorn bushes. Hostilities followed by rewards. The Wood of Wood Monkey day puts a raven in line 2. There's danger of an argument and a fight.
