Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/23/17

8/23 is the day of Water Horse in the month of Earth Monkey. This is a clashing combination. It favors metaphysical, and psychic research, astrology, and so on.
This day is designated as excellent and open. It is ideal for proposing marriage, getting married, renovation, building, moving house, opening a business, traveling, and so on.
An open day is good for official openings, signing agreements, marriage, house warming, and the like.
The lunar mansion is Can, Orion. It is good for all fengshui operations, travel, renovations, construction, etc.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for love.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is a good day for progress at work.
Horse, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Sheep, Snake, Dog, and Tiger; neutral with Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Rat, Ox, and Horse.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 64, line 3.

Hexagram 64 is WeiJi, Before Completion. If the little fox gets his tail in the water just before crossing, nothing is advantageous.

Line 3 If your course is wrong, begin again. The zodiac sign for line 3 is Horse. By the element of the season, Horse is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Horse signifies colleagues and friends. Horse is in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 5, clashes with the sign of the day, and is neutral with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements says to check yourself. The Water of Water Horse day puts a raven in line 3. There is disagreement among you. Don't get into a fight.
