Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/6/17

8/6 is the day of Wood Ox in the month of Fire Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It favors financial speculation.
This day is designated as inauspicious and destructive. It is bad for all major activities.
A destruction day is good for demolitions and for having something surgically removed.
The lunar mansion is Fang, House. This is not good for financial investments, or for visiting the tailor to get a new suit of clothes.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this day is good for creative work.
Ox, the sign for this day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; neutral with Tiger. Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 33, line 2.

Hexagram 33 is Tun, Withdrawing. Persistence in small matters is advantageous.

Line 2 He holds fast to thongs of yellow oxhide which cannot be parted. The zodiac sign for line 2 is Horse. By the element of the season, Horse is strong. By the element of the hexagram, Horse signifies power. Horse is neutral with the signs of changing line, 3, clashes with the sign of the day, and is in harmony with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements advises to harmonize with the times. The Wood of Wood Ox day puts a raven in line 2. Avoid quarreling.
