Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/12/18

1/12 is the day of Wood Dragon in the lunar month of Water Rat. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is designated as inauspicious and balancing. This day is unsuitable for any major undertaking.
On a balance day, be careful, if making any deals, that it is not unbalanced any way, because the outcome might be unfortunate.
The lunar mansion is Gui, Ghost. This is a negative asterism.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a good day for creative work.
Dragon, the sign of the day, is harmonious with Monkey, Rat, Tiger, and Rooster; neutral with Snake, Horse, Sheep, Pig, and Ox; clashes with Dog and Dragon; and is ambivalent with Rabbit.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 52, line 6.

Hexagram 52 is Ken, Mountain. Keeping his back still, he feels nothing. Walking in the courtyard without seeing the people. No blame.

Line 6 Keeping still eminently. Good fortune. The zodiac signs of line 6 are Tiger and Rooster. By the element of the season, Tiger is strong and Rooster is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Tiger signifies power, Rooster signifies the development of creative and business ideas. The sequence of elements suggests to retreat. The Wood of Wood Dragon day puts a tortoise in line 6. Tortoise signifies secrecy.
