Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/19/18

1/19 is the day of Metal Pig in the lunar month of Water Ox. This is a harmonious combination.
This day is designated as inauspicious and open. It is not good to begin any major undertaking today.
An open day is good for opening your house and welcoming in guests.
The lunar mansion is Kang, Neck. It is a negative asterism. It means loss of money.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day to clean your house or place of work.
Pig, the sign of the day, is in harmony with Rabbit, Sheep, Tiger, Rat, and Ox; neutral with Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Snake, Monkey, and Pig.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 59, line 5.

Hexagram 59 is Huan, Dispersion. The king goes to his ancestral temple. It is advantageous to cross the great water. Firm correctness brings reward.

Line 5 Make corrections with the changing times and circumstances. The zodiac sign of line 5 is Snake. By the element of the season, Snake is weak. By the element of the hexagram, Snake signifies friends and colleagues. Snake clashes with the sign of the day and is in harmony with the sign of the month. The sequence of elements advises to act but not to oppose. The Metal of Metal Pig day puts an earthworm in line 5. The earthworm means an obstacle. The obstacle is fortunate; it will prevent you from getting into a disaster. Don't go against it.
