Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/16/15
9/16 is the day of Wood Sheep in the month of Wood Rooster. This is a harmonious combination. It favors courageously facing challenges and promotes prosperity, but warns of potential trouble in personal relationships.
Sheep is the Star of Art for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative work.
Sheep generally favors Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; clashes with Ox and Dog; and is either good or bad with Rat depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 24, line 1.
Hexagram 24 is Fu, Return. Coming and going. Friends visit without error. The way is to and fro. On the seventh day comes return. It is good to have something to do.
Line 1 Return from a short distance, or correcting mistakes before they get serious, is without blame. The zodiac sign of line 1, Rat, is strong by the season. In the hexagram it represents money. Rat is in harmony with the signs of changing lines 2, 3, and 5, and with the signs of the day and month. It favors making money and getting what you want. The Wood of Wood Sheep day puts a dragon in line 1. This is auspicious. Everything is favorable. Good to act.
