Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/6/15
9/6 is the day of Wood Rooster in the month of Wood Monkey. This is a harmonious combination. It favors hard work and responsibility, and resolves difficulties.
Rooster is the Commanding Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for making progress in your work.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon this is a good day for romance.
Rooster generally favors Ox, Snake, Monkey, and Dragon; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Sheep; clashes with Rooster and Rabbit; and is either good or bad with Dog depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 46, line 4.
Hexagram 46 is Sheng, Ascending. Success. It is good to see people of influence. Traveling south brings luck. This hexagram is good in fall.
Line 4 The king sacrifices at Mount Chi. Food fortune. The zodiac sign for line 4, Ox, is strong by the season. In the hexagram it represents money. Ox is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1, and with the signs of the day and month. It all points to success. The Wood of Wood Rooster day puts a snake in line 4. There may be a hidden source, or an opportunity you could be overlooking. It pays to look below the surface.
