Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/20/15
9/20 is the day of Earth Pig in the month of Wood Rooster. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors creative activity and encourages resolving difficulties inventively.
Pig is the Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for rearranging your home or work place, progressing with your career, and traveling.
Pig generally favors Rabbit, Sheep, Tiger, Rat, and Ox; is neutral toward Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog, and clashes with Pig, Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 14, line 3.
Hexagram 14 is Dayou, Great Possession. High noon; high success.
Line 3 The prince offers his possessions to the son of heaven. This is something ordinary people cannot do. The zodiac sign for line 3, Dragon, is strong by the season, but is empty, therefore its strength here is unreliable. While Dragon is in harmony with the signs of changing lines 1 and 2, and with the signs of the day and month Dragon gets no help. Dragon, in this hexagram, represents your support, your home, your education, mentors, teachers, parents, and the like. Empty, they are useless. In other words, support is lacking; what, or whom you depend on does not help you now. The Earth of Earth Pig day puts a tortoise in line 3. Self-protection is a good idea. Beware of being used by the wrong people.
