Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/14/15
10/14 is the day of Water Pig in the month of Fire Dog. This is a partly discordant combination, that can bring out impatience and anger, but that favors diligence especially at work.
Pig is the Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three this may be a busy day, good for moving forward at work, and traveling.
Pig generally favors Rabbit, Sheep, Tiger, Rat, and Ox; is neutral toward Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Pig, Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 31, line 3.
Hexagram 31 is Xian, Influence. Persevere. Good luck arranging to marry.
Line 3 favors independence and following your own ideas. The zodiac sign of line 3, Monkey, is strong by the season, and by the hexagram represents you and your relations with colleagues, friends, and siblings. Monkey is partly in harmony with the signs of changing lines 2 and 5, clashes with the sign for the day, and is in harmony with the sign for the month. The Water of Water Pig puts a raven in line 3. People may be argumentative or disturbed. Best be considerate, and not get involved in a quarrel.
