Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/5/15

10/5 is the day of Wood Tiger in the month of Wood Rooster. This is a harmonious combination and it promotes diligent work, and prosperity.
Tiger is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for moving forward at work and traveling.
Tiger generally favors Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Horse, Dog, and Pig; is neutral toward Sheep, Rooster, Ox, and Rat; and clashes with Snake and Ox.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 26, line 2.

Hexagram 26 is Daxu, Taming Power of the Great. Good fortune comes from not eating at home, or being sociable. It is advantageous to cross the great water.

Line 2 advises self control. The zodiac sign for line 2, Tiger, is weak by the season, and, in the hexagram, represents power, obligations, responsibilities, and those who make demands on you. Tiger is in harmony with most of the signs of changing lines, 1, 3, and 6, and with the signs of the day and month. It bears up and can tolerate pressure. The Wood of Wood Tiger day puts a raven in line 2. There is some danger of an argument.
