Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/20/15
10/20 is the day of Earth Snake in the month of Fire Dog. This is a harmonious combination. It is highly sociable, but can bring out aggression and anger. It favors competitiveness.
Snake is the Traveling Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these this may be a busy day, good for moving forward in work, fixing up your house, or traveling.
Snake generally favors Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; is neutral toward Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey, Pig, and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 60, line 1.
Hexagram 60 is Ji, Limitation. Limitation is good, but excessive limitation is not.
Line 1 advises keeping within your boundaries. The zodiac sign for line 1, Snake, is weak by the season, and, by the hexagram, represents money. It is advisable to be shrewd and conservative. Snake is in partial harmony with the signs of changing line, 2, and is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Earth of Earth Snake day puts another snake in line 1. It advises looking below the surface, and weighing the odds.
If dealing with someone else, s/he is in a strong position, by the season, and, according to the hexagram, may be in a position of need. If you don't feel right about it, don't deal with them; it could turn out badly. Set your limits.
