Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/14/15
12/14 is the day of Wood Rat in the month of Earth Rat. This is a partly discordant combination. It favors research, psychic and astrological work, teaching, nursing, care giving, and so on.
Rat is the Star of Romance for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for romantic interests.
Rat is the Commanding Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these this is a good day to make progress in your work.
Rat favors Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Ox, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit and Horse; and is either good or bad with Sheep depending on circumstances. Sheep and Rat are mutually attracted but can clash.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 8, line 3.
Hexagram 8 is Bi, Unity. Good luck for those who maintain high standards. Those who are uncertain gradually join. Those who come too late meet with misfortune.
Line 3 warns against associating with the wrong people. The zodiac sign for line 3, Rabbit, is strong by the season, and, by the hexagram, points to those who make demands on you. Rabbit is partially discordant with the signs of changing line, 2, and clashes with the sign of the day and month. There is a need to maintain boundaries. The Wood of Wood Rat day puts a worm in line 3. If you don't maintain your proper boundary, others may entangle and overwhelm you.
