Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 2/19/16
2/19 is the day of Metal Sheep in the month of Metal Tiger. This is a harmonious combination. It favors diligence, putting money away, making a sound investment, and accepting friendly help in resolving conflicts or difficulties. It is OK to consult with and adviser.
Sheep is the Star of Art for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for creative work.
Sheep favors Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; clashes with Dog and Ox; and is ambivalent with Rat.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 9, line 1.
Hexagram 9 is Power of the Small, or Restraint. There are heavy clouds, but no rain comes from the east. It is advisable to wait.
Line 1 Coming back is blameless. Good luck. The zodiac sign of line 1, Rat, is strong by the season, and, by the hexagram, signifies support. Support is strong. Rat partly clashes with the signs of changing lines, 4 and 5, clashes with the sign of the day, and is neutral toward the sign of the month. It suggests having many things, or questions on your mind, many things to consider and weigh. It is not time to act. The Metal of Metal Sheep day puts a Tiger in line 1. Hold back and consider carefully. To go forward now may precipitate bad luck.
