Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/5/16

12/5 is the day of Metal Rooster in the lunar month of Metal Rat. This is a harmonious combination. It favors all talent related professions.
This day is auspicious and open. It is good for marriage, moving house, opening a business, and so on.
An open day is good for openings, welcoming in guests, and so on. It is a very good day.
The lunar mansion is Wei, Danger. It means danger at sea, or near water, and health problems.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a good day for romantic affairs.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for making progress in your career.
Rooster, the sign of this day, is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Monkey, and Dragon; neutral with Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Sheep; clashes with Rooster and Rabbit; and ambivalent with Dog.
The I Ching hexagram, using the King Wen method, is number 13, line 3.

Hexagram 13 is Tongren, Fellowship. Fellowship in the open. Success. It is good fortune to cross the great water. The superior man benefits by maintaining firm correctness.

Line 3 He conceals his weapons in a thicket. He mounts a high hill. For three years matters are adverse. The zodiac signs of line 3 are Pig and Dragon. By the element of the season they are strong. By the element of the hexagram, the signify power and creative or business interests. Pig and Dragon for the most part clash with the signs of changing line, 6, and with the sign of the day, but are in harmony with the sign of the month. Water in abundance. Conditions are ideal. Proceed energetically. The Metal of Metal Rooster day puts a dragon in line 3. This is an ideal day for taking positive action.
