Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/13/14

11/13 is the day of Water Snake in the month of Fire Pig. This is a completely discordant combination. It cautions against impatience, intolerance, and anger, while it favors independence and competitiveness.
Snake is the Traveling Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day to move forward in your work, do some work on your home, and travel.
Snake generally favors Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; is neutral toward Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey, Pig, and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 11, line 3.

Hexagram 11 is Tai, Peace. The small departs; the great arrives. Good fortune and success.

Line 3 No even ground without a hill nearby. No venturing out without returning. If you persevere in difficult times there is no blame. Do not complain about the changing times. Enjoy the good fortune you have. The zodiac sign of line 3, Dragon, is strong by the season, and, by the hexagram, signifies those who gather around you, such as friends, colleagues, acquaintances, siblings. Dragon is mostly in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1, 2, and 5, and is neutral toward the signs of the day and month. The Water of Water Snake day puts a raven in line 3. If you are heedless of others you can get into a quarrel.
