Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 11/5/15

11/5 is the day of Wood Rooster in the month of Fire Dog. This is a harmonious combination. It favors working hard and making money. The combination of Dog and Rooster also brings out Heaven Medicine Star. This is good for people who are well, but if you are ill or weak this is a warning, especially if you were born in the month of Dog, to take care of yourself now. This is also a good day to resort to divination to see what lies ahead for you.
Rooster is the Commanding Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day to take initiative and make progress at work.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon this is a good day for romantic interests.
Rooster is good with Ox, Snake, Dragon, and Monkey; neutral toward Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Sheep; clashes with Rooster and Rabbit; and is good or bad with Dog depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 47, line 1.

Hexagram 47 is Kun, Oppression. The superior person has good luck. No blame. If you have something to say, however, no one listens. This hexagram warns of arguments in fall season.

Line 1 encourages you not to let any adverse condition discourage you. The zodiac sign of line 1, Tiger, is weak by the season, and, by the hexagram, signifies money or that which you want to get. Tiger is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 6, and with the signs of the day and month. It encourages using money to make money. Invest wisely. The Wood of Wood Rooster day puts a dragon in line 1. It is auspicious and encouraging.
