Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/20/15

1/20 is the day of Metal Rat in the month of Fire Pig. This is a partly discordant combination. It lets you take positive advantage of negative conditions, and favors creative work.
Rat is the Star of Romance for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for love.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon this is a good day to take charge and move forward with your work.
Rat generally favors Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Pig, and Ox; is neutral toward Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit and Horse; and is either good or bad with Sheep depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 16, line 1.

Hexagram 16 is Yu, Joy. Time to get helpers and set armies marching.

Line 1 warns against boasting. The zodiac sign for line 1, Sheep, is weak by the season, and, by the hexagram, represents money. Sheep is partly in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 3 and 4, and is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. Don't overestimate your chances. The Metal of Metal Rat day puts a tiger in line 1. If you are foolhardy enough you can get hurt. Be careful.
